Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Awesome fun! Once again, a cast of colorful characters spanning gaming’s past and present get together for what are sure to be many nights of frantic four-player fighting action.

Okami
Unfortunately, after playing through some of this game, I found the controls somewhat lacking and the Wii Remote seemed at least partially to blame. Still, the heart of the game, which was originally hailed for its staggeringly attractive art direction, continues to beat under the layer of mucked-up controls, so there is still time for Capcom to execute the necessary tweaks and produce a genuinely awesome version of the great PS2 game.

Super Mario Galaxy
This is the best game ever!!!! This is by far Nintendo Wii’s best release to date, and takes the tried-and-tested formula from Super Mario 64 and Sunshine to a new level of perfection. It’s the single best reason for naysayers to finally take the hardware plunge, and it also ranks up there with this year’s other top releases. In short, there’s very little to hate and a whole lot of stuff to love.
